Creating links to articles or using course reserves is the only way subscription resources can be shared in Blackboard. See the CSUF copyright website for more detail.
There are two ways to create links to subscription content:
1.) Persistent URLs (aka permalinks or stable URLs) can be modified to provide article level linking in many cases. To modify, place the following URL in front of persistent links you find in databases - http://www.library.fullerton.edu/asp/ipcheck.aspx?url=
a. Locate the persistent link. The example below shows what the link looks like in Jstor.

b. Copy the link and place the persistent URL in front of it as shown below:
http://www.library.fullerton.edu/asp/ipcheck.aspx?url=http://www.jstor.org/stable/3560217
2.) Another way to link to articles in Blackboard is to use the Find It button.![]()
a. Select the "Find It" button which appears in most databases.
b. Select the more options link from the list of options.
c. Select the "Create a link" option.
d. Copy link and paste into Blackboard.
