How do I make my course available in Blackboard?

1. Go to Blackboard.
2. Control Panel
3. Settings (under 'Course Options')
4. Course Availability
5. Check 'YES' and click 'Submit'

NOTE: Contact the FDC if you have any problems activating your course.

How do I see what is availalble to my students?

1. Click on 'Switch to Student mode' while you are logged on in Ares
2. To exit student mode, click on 'Course Reserves'

How do I refresh or restart my session in Ares?

• You can restart or refresh your Ares session by clicking on the 'Course Reserves' button on the Blackboard menu.

How do I add Course Reserves function to the menu?

1. Control Panel
2. Manage Course Menu (under 'Course Options')
3. Tool Link
   1. Type > Drop down to 'Ares Course Reserves'
   2. Name > 'Course Reserves'
   3. Click SUBMIT

How to Enroll a user:

1. Control Panel
2. Enrol User (under 'User Management')
3. Search 'CSUF Library' as last name duplicated
4. Check box to add and click submit
5. Click 'OK' button
6. List/Modify Users (under 'User Management')
7. Search 'CSUF Library' as last name duplicated or list all
8. Properties (next to the name)
9. Switch Role and Availability from Student to Course Builder role
10. SUBMIT
